GDPR Information

This page provides supplementary information for users protected by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

These provisions apply when Mediagoats Agencies INC processes personal data of individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, including publishers, advertiser contacts, website visitors and end users whose data is processed through our tracking and attribution services.

Where MediaGoats acts as a processor on behalf of an advertiser, that advertiser is typically the controller for end-user marketing data. In those cases, please contact the advertiser directly; MediaGoats will assist them as required by contract and law.

For account-related processing (registration, payouts, compliance), MediaGoats is the controller. For conversion tracking delivered on an advertiser's behalf, roles are defined in our data processing agreements.

3. Lawful bases

We process personal data under the following lawful bases, depending on context:

• Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to provide the Platform, manage accounts, attribute conversions and process payments
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — fraud prevention, network security, analytics, product improvement and B2B communication, balanced against your rights
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — tax, accounting, anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — non-essential cookies, optional marketing emails and other processing where consent is required; you may withdraw at any time

Special category data is not intentionally collected. If processing is necessary for legal claims or substantial public interest, we rely on applicable GDPR exceptions.

4. Your rights

Under GDPR, you may have the right to:

• Access — obtain confirmation and a copy of personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — request deletion where there is no overriding legal basis to retain data
• Restriction — limit processing in certain circumstances
• Portability — receive data you provided in a structured, machine-readable format where processing is automated and based on consent or contract
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
• Automated decisions — not be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, except where permitted by law

Submit requests to privacy@mediagoats.network. We respond within one month, extendable where complex. We may verify identity before disclosure.

5. International transfers

MediaGoats uses infrastructure and subprocessors in the UK, EEA, United States and other countries. When personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we implement appropriate safeguards such as:

• European Commission or UK adequacy regulations
• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with supplementary measures where assessed necessary
• Binding corporate rules or other approved mechanisms where applicable

A copy of relevant safeguards may be requested by contacting our DPO.

6. Data Protection Officer

MediaGoats has appointed a Data Protection Officer to oversee GDPR compliance and serve as a point of contact for supervisory authorities and data subjects.

7. Complaints

If you believe we have processed your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address your concerns directly.
